Scholarship Information US Lacrosse and the 1989 U.S. Women's National Team are proud to announce the creation of the Sue Stahl Women's National Team Clinic Youth Player Scholarship program. Developed in 2009, the scholarship fund was started through a gift made by the 1989 U.S. Women's World Cup Team, in recognition of head coach Sue Stahl's twenty years of service to the U.S. Team. In the 2009-10 clinic season, ten scholarships will be awarded to young female lacrosse players (18 and under) demonstrating financial need. Stahl served as the U.S. Women's National Team head coach from 1988 until 2005 and coached the U.S. World Cup Team to four consecutive championships in 1989, 1993, 1997 and 2001. In addition, she coached two U.S. Touring Teams to undefeated records and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1999. • Click here to access the scholarship application form.
